New 11 Ultra Modern stand alone houses, consisting of a under ground garage, with 2 storey above ground.
U L T S T R U C T Consulting Structural and Civil Engineers were appointed to provide Professional Services in respect of the design and construction supervision
of the residential development at 61 Mount St, Bryanston.
Structurally the grand challenge was to achieve the floating look envisioned by the project architect with large uninterrupted open space on ground level and
extremely long cantilever pop-outs on upper floors.
The site geology with a weak bearing capacity also added further complexity to the challenge.
The structural system was selected and designed through an integrated approach which allowed design decisions to be addressed by the entire project team.
Early analysis allowed collaboration with the architect and construction management members to make the most beneficial decisions for the project.
Large cantilever walls and multiple complex transfer structures were employed to achieve the floating look envisioned, and considering the site low bearing capacity
and intricate loading condition raft foundation was selected as the most robust and economical.
Proposed structural solution performance was analysed and investigated using the most latest and sophisticated three dimensional analysis software and the
structure as a whole and all components are designed to meet local and international design standards.
U L T S T R U C T has a wealth of experience in the design and delivery of high quality residential schemes, ranging from single individual contemporary houses to
large scale residential scheme.
As such, we will deliver the highest quality service for project at 61 Mount St while focusing upon the needs of the client and construction team.
